About Andrés Richero

As a Director of Experience Design, I lead a diverse team of professionals in Design Management, UX Design, Product Design, and User Research distributed across LAN, LAS & Europe with whom we design an enterprise software platform that allows B2B/C/G merchants to deliver the ultimate commerce experience everywhere, every time.

As an Interaction Design team, we apply Design Thinking and User-Centered Design principles to come up with solutions for eCommerce, InStore, CRM, and Order Management problems. At times we have also contributed by providing our customers with Behavioral Analytics as well as streamlined Payment Processes.

For over 20 years I have been working at the intersection of Design and Software. I was an Entrepreneur, I founded and grew an independent Design Studio for over 5 years, I also worked for the Digital Advertising Industry and the Software Development Industry, where I played roles as Web Designer, Visual Designer, Frontend Developer and Project Manager amongst others. Those experiences added to my personal perspective and they even became a differentiator in terms of Relationship Building and Collaboration with the Business and Engineering areas.

Design is my passion and I split the focus on three areas related to it: Design Leadership at Oracle NetSuite, Community Leadership at IxDA Montevideo, and Discipline and Practice Development at FADU (Facultad de Arquitectura, Diseño y Urbanismo | Univeridad de la República | Montevideo, Uruguay).

During the last few years I have made a ritual out of having coffee with fellow designers, artists, architects, psychologists, and many more who want to spend an hour or so getting to know each other, find a mentorship space, grow and get help in the exploration of their own career path. Also during the last few years, meeting in person has become harder and therefore in February 2022 I have joined ADPList as a way to coordinate and enjoy mentorship sessions.
