Project Minavar

Throughout our journey of designing for crisis, we identified core issues that required urgent decision making. We decided on the fuel and power shortage in Sri Lanka at the moment. We chose fishermen as our user and tried to come up with a solution for the lack of basic necessities required for survival.

To combat this, we came up with a mobile application, 2Way, which will serve as an online platform for people in their respective communities to trade goods and services among each other.

This would also prove to be a sustainable solution as it reduces the need for the production of new items, and encourages the population to normalise the use of secondhand items. The fear and uncertainty brought by the economic crisis in Sri Lanka, we aim for our solution to help in community building .
