Bring back tourism and the livelihood of thousands of affected people from the standstill of a lockdown We are in the midst of a pandemic which has affected the entire global population in one way or the other. Tourism and hospitality is one of the major sectors that has taken a massive hit and is struggling to cope with it. In India it contributes to 9.2% of the nation’s GDP, and 42.673 million jobs are affected by the lockdown. Since this is going to be the new normal let’s try and normalize it. Here are a couple of scenarios we were thinking of 1. How might kiran, a tour guide keep his livelihood afloat when there are no tourists visiting his place ? 2. How might Shashank a software engineer also an avid travel enthusiast who is stuck working from home for the past 3 months be able to travel again?
