At work we just don’t deal with deliverables, we also aim to build connections and relationships. Relationships with teams, managers, leaders, co-workers, co-workers turned friends, etc. But then, building a relationship takes a lot of time and effort. It requires a lot of investment from both sides in terms of understanding the mutual benefits, expectations, likes, dislikes, getting accustomed to body language.

A face to face conversation is more vibrant, more lively, more possibilities to understand a person’s body language, and the intentions correctly. All these elements are missing over virtual connections.

Can meeting virtually weaken professional relationships over time? Is there a new way to restore them?

How might we find ways to maintain professional relationships through this pandemic period?
