Project Summary

Problem Identified

To this day, millions of electronic appliances have piled up for repair and service in India during this lockdown enforced to control the spread of the corona virus. Indians are locked indoors and frustrated doing their household chores by themselves. But for others, the stakes are much higher. Jobs are at risk due to the malfunction of laptops and smartphones. People are desperate and helpless, seeking for a solution to repair their beloved appliances.

Design Innovation

By effectively utilizing the Augmented reality to help people learn how to repair and fix things on their own, we help people stay safe in their homes to avoid the risk of virus infection and help people become self-sustainable. The application we designed will help people resolve their problems and avail the contactless repair assistance. We also help the users connect with local technicians and upscale these used appliances to prevent them from going to the landfills. Thus empowering the local technicians and reducing the e-waste produced. More than everything we help people resolve the problems in the simplest and safest way.
